Brief:
ARC carried out the construction of a new wastewater pump station in the residential subdivision Strowan Fields in Ashburton. The station consists of a fiberglass wet well valve chamber combination and an 80m3 storage tank to efficiently manage the wastewater within the subdivision.
Scope:
Pump Station
- Temporary works consisting of a cofferdam 18m x 9m with 9m deep FSPIII sheet piles to allow excavation to 5.5m deep.
- Dewatering the cofferdam to allow civil works
- Bulk excavation to foundation RL’s.
- Insitu concrete anti floatation ring around the wetwell.
- Installation of fiber glass wet well, valve chamber and 16m long storage tank
- Installation of precast flowmeter and inlet chambers.
- Yard construction - wash down pad, fencing and pavement works.
