Brief:
Construction of a wastewater pump station in Darfield, as part of the Darfield to The Pines conveyance scheme as the area continues to expand. The station is designed as the last stop before the towns sewer is pumped to The Pines.
Scope:
- 7m Deep excavation consisting of batters and box shields
- Earthworks involving bulk excavation XXm3 and subsequent filling of XXm3
- Concrete works for foundation and top slab - 21m x 2.5m
- DN200 DI mechanical pipework and DN375 gravity pipework
- Installation of DN1800 MH’s and DN3500 GRP Wetwell tank
- Installation of Haigh Ace screen system
- Building of electrical shed; installation of electrical kiosk and all associated wiring and commissioning electrical works.
- Water supply pipeline, water meter, water storage tank and RPZ.
- Construction of access crossing, turning area and landscaping.
